I've hated the factory plastic bumper spikes on the MS170 and have been for al ong time now looking for a good felling spike kit for that chainsaw. Easy to fit after removing bar and chain with the supplied two screws. Uses a T25 for fitment. Recommend screwing in by hand so as to not cause damage to plastic case. Really good fitment. Will keep the other as a sspare.highly recommend.
The part was identical to the old part, fitted well and worked on first pull. Very happy.
